Public schools attended by area youth and teens are either Galatas (K-4) or Coulson Tough Elementary (K-6), Mitchell Intermediate (5 & 6), McCullough Junior High (7 & 8) and The Woodlands Ninth Grade Campus and The Woodlands High School.

According to the latest statistics from the Houston Association of Realtors, Indian Springs has over 2,200 residences and a median appraised value of $225,640 with a median square foot price of $88.12. The average year built was 1996 and since 1995 the price per square foot has gone from $56.90 to $87.17 in 2005 (the last year statistics are available.)
